Purchasing an e-collar training package was the best decision we made for our dog and ourselves. We had a very productive training sessions with many info and useful techniques. Adam has a set of great coaching skills and a very adaptable style depending on the audience. Really impressed with his professionalism and down to earth approach. Could not recommend enough and I am sure we will come back at some point for more fun!!

Been working with Adam on my 2 1/2 year old rottweiler’s over enthusiastic led reactivity. He just has to meet and interact with every person / dog he meets, leading to random episodes of leash reactivity. Right from the 1st lesson the relationship between my dog and myself has been strengthened and he has rapidly exceeded my expectations, enjoying better interactions, with dogs in particular as well as being generally much more connected and attentive to me. Adam’s own highly trained and neutral dogs have been an integral part of the process and I was delighted to see my dog and Adam’s dog lay face to face watching the world go by in peace in the last lesson. The staff at Valorant K9 Academy are very experienced, professional and knowledgeable. We took our reactive German Shepherd dog Bruce to their academy after trying many other dog trainers, who didn’t seem to have the skills or knowledge to address Bruce’s reactivity. The staff at Valorant were very approachable and understanding and more importantly knew how to address Bruce’s behaviours. They have given us the knowledge, tools & skills to understand, correct & develop more positive behaviours in Bruce. We have continued to remain connected to the academy as we are always learning new things such as nutrition, engagement, resource guarding etc. We attend their regular Pack Walks which is great for Bruce as it socialises him with other dogs in a controlled environment. Valorant also have a fantastic community of people who readily share their experiences and tips online which has greatly increased out awareness of the dog world.

Bella came out for a home visit to help me with my overexcited Golden Retriever. He was reactive to people coming into the house leaping at them and generally being bad mannered. .Bella gave me the tools to resolve the issue which she explained,would take time and practice on my part. Loved meeting Adam,so much I could learn,I thought I know abit about malinois but boy was I wrong.i am looking to fing out prices and possibly book a few sessions. I think my dog will benefit immensely .

I rehomed a lovely boy and was told he was good with dogs etc etc but he wasn’t he was highly reactive and redirected a few times. I needed help and got the reactivity package. We worked with Jonny and over time (no quick fixes which I don’t think everyone understands) we can now be around dogs without an explosion and me getting nipped. We are constantly making progress. They found a method which worked for my dog and once we found that he is coming on leaps and bounds. I love our monthly walks which help so much and they are always on hand for advice if needed. I’m not sure I would have coped without them. I’m looking forward to making further progress with their help.

We had an amazing experience with both the 1 to 1 training and the academy. The team are all super knowledgeable and happy to work with you and any questions you may have. My dog was anxious and reactive before attending Valorant K9 but through working with the team he is so much better and only gets better the more we do! We still attend Valorant K9 through the academy and any extra training sessions that appeal to enhance his training.

Our dog went to Valorant K9 residential training and wow, what a difference! We met the trainer before hand and knew he would be in safe hands and well looked after. We got daily updates on WhatsApp, which was brilliant, as we missed him so much! Jonny worked on the few issues we had and it was like magic! Follow up sessions were a great way of gaining tips, so we could continue the training correctly. I would recommend Valorant K9 to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

We are so pleased we found Jonny and the rest of the team at Valorant to help with reactivity in our 8 yr old rescue collie-cross, Max. I only wish we had found them sooner. After spending a lot of money to receive pretty useless advice about four years ago (basically, just to avoid all dogs) we had gotten to the point where walks were really stressful and Max was showing aggression towards most large dogs when out on walks. Unknowingly, following the professionals advice we had been given previously, we were simply making him more anxious and therefore more reactive toward dogs. I initially called and spoke to Bella, after Max had bitten another dog and it felt like a bit of a last resort to be honest. She was understanding and non-judgemental and I decided to book him in for a day training package. Admittedly I was quite skeptical about seeing any results, based off of our previous experience with a dog trainer, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. After just a couple of sessions, Max’s reactivity was almost non-existent in sessions and with Jonny’s guidance we saw similar results with the work we did at home. Jonny helped to educate us (in a really non-patronising way) about how to correctly handle Max, how to build his confidence and manage dog encounters. Bella has also been a great help, giving advice about dog nutrition when Max had been unwell (even when she should have been relaxing on holiday!) It’s clear that the team are both knowledgeable and passionate about the work they do. Max is now a happier, more confident dog and we both really love walks again! My 2 year old Belgian Malinois has recently completed a 4 week board and train with Valorant K9 Academy, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Adam was the primary trainer during her stay, and the work he and the team put into her reactivity issues is amazing, as a rescue that hadn’t had the best start in life, prior to her board and train we were making very little progress with her severe car and dog reactivity, and had previously wasted time with local trainers who were completely out of their depth with her breed and her issues. Adam was able to quickly get on top of her extreme behaviour around these triggers and encourage her to begin to make good decisions instead. The balanced approach to training that Adam utilised, while dealing with both the behaviour and the underlying causes was exceptional, and we have been able to continue building on that foundation both in the handover training sessions and now back at home. My dog is definitely starting to live her best life because of the work Adam and the Valorant team did with her, and we are extremely grateful.

A huge thanks to Valorant K9 Academy for all the help and support. I booked a reactivity package in September for my three year old Siberian Husky, who was showing signs of aggression in and out of the home towards certain people and all children, including my own daughter. Taking him on a walk was so stressful he would pull constantly and lunge for other dogs.and I felt I had zero control over him at all. I had him from a pup at 6 weeks so couldn’t get my head round the fact he was snarling and snapping and even bit my daughter when she picked up one of his toys. Upon the first visit Jonny was able to tell me within about 10 minutes what the issues with him were. Within the first 30 minutes Jonny had Zac walking pretty much to heel and provided the correct collar and techniques to correct him when on a walk and how to get him to pay attention to me and where I’m going instead of racing about like he usually would. In terms of resource guarding I was given the best advice on how to manage this and make sure everyone remained safe, it’s still a work in progress but what I learned from training is it isn’t just about training your dog, you have to learn to understand your dog too. Zac is a different dog now! Walks are much less stressful and he goes to his bed on command if he shows any unwanted behaviours. I was amazed with the results after 5 sessions and can’t believe how far Zacs come. Thank you for everything you have done for us I can’t wait to keep up with the training at home 😊😊

Puppies are a nightmare whether you’ve had them previously or not. We’d lost our 16yr old dog and never had a pup before. Knowing our new boy was going to be big, strong and in need of a lot of mental stimulation, as well as physical, I researched for months looking for the best out there. Not one ‘trainer’ fit the bill or went that extra mile. They all seemed so basic and a bit silly really not seeing the dog just grouping all dogs as one. Valorant K9 was and is a God send and they truly understand each dog on its merit and its breed. To be fair I was a bit unsure re starting our boy so early (9 weeks) but once I listened to their knowledge, I totally got it and saw what was right for him. So, our boy has learnt REAL recal which consists of not just constantly shouting at them but the dogs needs firstly, then implementing your needs. Our trainer Bella has an encyclopaedic canine knowledge and is, in our view, exceptional. Basic things re crates and toileting that we were literally pulling our hair out at, and getting SO stressed about, were grasped after her input within a night. These things are SO stressful and yet the understanding of the dog is so simplified from these guys and it really works so effectively that you see it’s genuinely what that dog needs. Our relationship with our pup is no longer a constant pain and stress but a real start to a bond and understanding of the dog., the breed and his needs that fit alongside our wants as a dog owner. Don’t get me wrong..YOU need to do the work! It’s not a ‘go to school as and that’s it’ program. It’s a long term commitment. Valorant give you the the tools but if you sit back and expect results you’re getting your laziness black and reactive dogs.

Excellent training. When we rescued our 3yo dog we were told she was aggressive and we would never be able to take her to the park or the beach and she would bark and lunge at other dogs from 100ft away. After 5 sessions and plenty of training on her regular walks she now has several doggy friends she plays with and we’re comfortable taking her off lead on quieter fenced in areas, and she’s been to the beach several times. She now barks only rarely and only when passing up close. The trainer is excellent and his dogs are adorable. Highly recommend. We didn’t even need the last session.

The best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve been recommended Valorant by my friend because of the issues with my dog Lola (cocker spaniel/labrador). She’s been reactive to other dogs, resource guarding whatever she liked and pulling on the leash like crazy. After the first session with Jonny, Lola was a different dog. I had struggled with my Doberman’s on-lead reactivity. We had reached the point where walks became unpleasant and very difficult even thought we used a trainer. I did a lot of research and came across Valorant K9 academy, and I thought I will give it ago. Now I can say that thanks to the Valorant K9 team, I have a new dog, I never thought I would have been able to walk her in a busy park or pass any other dog without incident. After 3 months of commitment and hard work, along with Adams and Jonnys guidance I have a well behaved dog who gained more confidence and built our connection and became more engaged with me. The Volarant team opened my eyes as to why dogs act a certain way, which helped us to adjust her life at home environment. What an amazing team at the K9 Academy. We would not hesitate to recommend you. We have always had dogs and had never experienced a reactive dog before….until Tilly, our Border Collie puppy. Her reactivity to cars, bikes and scooters was a massive challenge to us – we dreaded going for a walk. We tried other trainers with no improvement and were at the point of considering rehoming – it would have broke our heart. We found Valourant after reading reviews. Adam & Jonny ‘got’ not just Tilly but us. They have been amazing to work with – absolutely no nonsense approach and amazing results. Absolutely amazing! Best decision I made for my dog was to get Valorant K9 academy to work with him. Fenrys was an incredible reactive GSD puppy for his age towards dogs and people, only with seeing people in the distance, he would go ballistic lunging, barking and even foaming. Just after the first session with Adam he stopped that behaviour. He walks with his slip collar without barking or lunging at people anymore, maybe the odd little woof but that’s all! He is only 7 months so he obviously has his little moments. From absolutely dreading walk time with him to being my favourite part of the day :). Adam also provided us with lot of information and different techniques to sort out some behaviours and it helped has massively :). He has now finished his reactivity course but it won’t be the last course he will do with them, I can assure that! Again, thank you so much for all your help!

There are very good dog training academy

I went to Jonny with my 2 year Cockapoo Floyd basically telling him he was my last resort to help. After trying numerous dog trainers I was going to have to rehome my dog due to a newborn coming in the family and Floyd being wild! Floyd went on a 3 week board & Train stay with Jonny. Jonny sorted all Floyd’s problems and he returned home better trained than I ever could imagine. I will be forever grateful. If I could give more than 5 star I would. I would recommend him to anyone that had problems with there dog.

Total Game Changer Our rescue lurcher was lead reactive, lunged and barked at cars, people and dogs to the point that walking him required constant vigilance and avoidance of potential situations. Overall, going on walks was a very unpleasant and stressful experience for us and for him. After endless hours on Google looking for tips and advice on how to manage the issue, we realised that we needed 1:1 help and training. Following contact with Valorant, we were recommended and signed up for the reactivity program. Jonny reassured us that the problem was solvable within a few sessions. The results were fantastic. After our first session, there was already a massive improvement and we were walking with a loose lead. The improvements only continued from there. In fact by the end of the program, we were able to receive advice on other topics such as the ‘stay’ command, recall training and even a bit of scent work. We hadn’t thought that any of this would be possible. Valorant really was a total game changer for us and for our now much calmer dog. Jonny, Adam and Bella are extremely knowledgable and have a real passion for what they do. Their approach is very friendly and supportive and no problem is too big or too small for them. We would not hesitate to recommend the Valorant team for anyone struggling with their dog’s behaviour. It certainly was worth the investment. Thanks very much to Jonny, Adam and Bella.

Best decision we ever made for ourselves and our boy. After working with Adam (who we called Jonny for ages…sorry!) our boy is so much calmer and happier. We have a young, reactive border collie who has changed so much since we started our training. A large part of it has been us changing our behaviours, challenging our comfort zones and working just as hard as Spooky, but Adam has been honest and open with us and it has made all the difference. Would 100% recommend…just don’t back into the posts in the car park like I did!l

I’m thrilled & relieved with the results from Jonny at Valorant. I have a lovely sweet girl, Bramble, a German short haired pointer, who has a sweet nature, friendly and is a joy. However, she has a strong prey drive and off lead field walks, which are 95% of our walks had become stressful and at times impossible. Think the dog Fenton in Richmond Park on youtube. Jonny suggested the e-collar. I was very reluctant, I’m not interested in hurting or punishing my dog. Long story short, after a few lessons, the e-collar works, I don’t need to ‘nick’ the ‘vibrate’ is enough & Bramble recalls at up to 500 metres despite destractions from sheep, horses, cattle, pheasants anything chaseable. I’m grateful for the encouragement to give it a go and the tuition to get the best out of the collar and Bramble. If you’ve got a problem with recall – see Jonny at Valorant to fix it!

Couldn’t have had a better experience with both Adam and Jonny. I had booked the reactivity training block due to having a super reactive dog that would pull on the lead every walk and bark at every dog and walks were pretty unbearable. Wishing spending 10 minutes at training Maya was listening and pretty much walking to heel. Both Adam and Jonny are super knowledgeable and unmatched at what they do, my only regret is not booking sooner!

Our dog was almost unwalkable and untrainable until we had the joy of finding these guys. Roscoe has come on leaps and bounds since working with them and we’ve been lucky enough to meet some of the highest quality trainers by far. Couldn’t recommend the place enough, their knowledge and patience is unmet by any other place out there.

Simply fantastic, we have a rescued ABBB / mixed bull breed who initially had a compulsive behaviour disorder and neurodevelopmental issues at the point of rescue. Jonny and Adam have both been super knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process and also showed care and compassion, making sure that the dog isn’t too warm when active and putting his health needs above all else! I honestly cannot recommend enough!

Help your dog by contacting this academy. Get the tools you need to remain in control. My dog Jax was barking at most things when we got him 4 month old, (scared, nervous). Barking at People but mainly dogs. Only been going every two weeks for the past 3 months and the turn around in him is amazing. He still reacts but I feel more in control and no where at the level he was reacting. His come down is much quicker. He is more focused on me the handler. Hardly pulls on the lead anymore. Can tolerate other dogs on walks. Working with Adam & Jonny. Jax has a future with us.

We’ve been having issues with our springer spaniel around reactiveness and resource guarding. After a chat with Adam and a few hints and tips we have a happy dog who doesn’t care who comes in or out of the house and he’s no longer as conceded with human food. Adams knowledge is amazing and I fully appreciated his no nonsense approach to dog training! Can not recommend enough!

We were so relieved to have found Johnny to help us with our 3 year old Old Thyme bulldog, having previously taken her to several trainers and not getting the support we needed. It was really encouraging to see how she trusted Johnny from the outset and then her excitement each time she saw him. Our bulldog had been struggling with anxiety resulting in reactive behaviour, having not socialised with many dogs before due to Covid. Having the opportunity to interact with different dogs with Johnny’s support was really helpful and exactly what she really needed. In addition, the tips we learnt throughout the training we did, really transformed how she interacts not only with dogs but also people. It’s so lovely to see her respond with excitement when people come to our home, instead of thinking she has to protect us. I cannot rave about the guys at Valorant Academy enough. We rescued an 8 month old border collie who had been locked in an upstairs flat for the majority of his life. He was malnourished and had never been for a walk, so he had hardly any muscle structure to his hind legs. Suffice to say he was in an extremely bad way, both physically and mentally, and after a few months of being at a complete loss with how to help him cope outdoors due to his hyper reactivity and pulling on the lead to the point he was making himself sick, we reached out to Valorant . . . And we have never looked back. Within just a few months, Murphy now walks to heal, with just a few minor corrections needed here and there. He can walk alongside other dogs without reacting or feeling the need for interaction, and he is now even coming along with his recall, which I never thought would be possible. When taking him for walks before his training, he would never acknowledge us. The world outside was too much for him, so there was absolutely no engagement. But now, he looks to us for guidance and structure every step of the way, and we can enjoy our walks together without the constant worry of him reacting to…well, it was pretty much everything. Thank you to Adam and the Valorant team. I don’t know what we would have done or where we would be without you. You are all amazing!!!

Couldnt recommend Adam and Jonny any more! We went with our 9 month old Doberman Wolf who was really over excited and reactive towards other dogs due to over socialisation. Within 7 weeks Wolf has completely changed, we can walk straight past other dogs and he doesnt care, as well as completely calming down in the house and listening to us all the time. We cant believe how quickly and easily they have helped us, weve actually moved our last reactivity sessions to remote collar training as we literally dont have any issues any more!! Cant wait to start on the RCT package after the amazing results weve already seen 😊

When I called Valorant K9 I was in desperate need of help with my GSD. He had become very reactive and incredibly difficulty to walk- to the point where he could only go out late at night to avoid people and dogs. Adam has been incredible and I couldn’t have asked for better for my dog. Made him very comfortable and always made sure he was acting in his best interest! I can now walk my dog at any time- day or night without issue, he no longer pulls on the lead and no longer lunges or barks at anything or anyone outside. HUGE difference from when he started his reactive GSD course to now completing it and would 100% recommend and use again! Thank you!

I’d been out walking my dog/people reactive GSD when he swung out reacting at another dog resulting in me crashing to my knees. I went home upset and defeated realising that his reactivity was finally just too much for me. Having to avoid people and turning back when you see another dog made walking him difficult and far from enjoyable. Also the fact he was only getting bigger and stronger meant it was time for me to seriously consider rehoming him. I saw an ad for Valorant K9 advertising their reactivity package. My options were rehoming him or having one very last try at training. I opted to give them a go. My boy was very wary of Jonny & Adam (as he is with most people) but his behaviour (they told me) was due to his lack of confidence (I’d previously been told it was dominance). They were able to assess him and tell me exactly what his issues were and what we needed to work on. By the second lesson my boy was all over them. Jonny and Adam by far have been the most knowledgeable and productive trainers I’ve used. Over the last 2,1/2 years I’d previously tried 6 other dog trainers (aswell as a monthly subscription to an online training company) and had made very little to none progress in terms of his reactivity. My boy has come on massively with all the help, advice and guidance received and after only 5 sessions is now so much more relaxed, confident and playful with now little to pretty much no reactivity at all. I can’t believe the difference in him. He is a different dog. He gets so excited when he realises we are going to a lesson as he absolutely loves being around them both. I’ve since booked more lessons to work on his obedience/socialising as I am so impressed with the difference their input and training has made to him and to us as a family. I’m so grateful I came across these guys, I only wish I’d come across them a lot sooner. Thank you Jonny & Adam. You were his ‘last chance saloon’ and yous certainly didn’t disappoint. 😊 *update* It has been a few month now since our training at valorant and I just want to add what a difference it has made. We can take him to the beach, parks, busy areas. He can be offlead in those places (where they allow) and he has reliable recall. He is able to ignore other dogs when offlead and his reactivity has dramatically reduced. Even on his walks near home, being able to allow him freedom off lead is an amazing result.

I can’t believe how incredibly lucky I was to find Valorant K9 Academy. Both Adam and Jonny have a down to earth, easy to understand attitude to helping owners overcome the issues presented by their dogs. Not only do they have a remarkable understanding of dogs, their needs and how to deal with issues presented, they have the ability to communicate with owners in a way that empowers them to tackle issues they have previously not been able to cope with their dogs. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who was looking for help with all aspects of dog training. They have helped me with my very reactive dog. We have had 3 sessions with Adam and Johnny for our reactive rescue German Shepherd, Wilson. It is unbelievable how great the guys are at explaining things in a way that we can understand. We have made great progress with Wilson after only 3 sessions and can’t thank them enough. Valorant are most definitely the best place to go if you are having issues with your dog. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I would highly recommend Adam and Johnny if your looking for good trainers, they are very knowledgeable and know what their talking about plus you can see the results for yourself first hand. We took our German Shepherd for some training as we were have a little trouble with lead pulling, barking, jumping up, etc. Adam and Johnny were absolutely brilliant they gave us the information we needed to correct the bad behaviours and in the very first session they had her under control which was fantastic to see, it was amazing to see how well she responded to them, it just goes to show correct training is key and gets the results your looking for 💯

Just had our second training session with Valorant K9. We are very happy with the training. Everything is explained fully and we train at my dog’s pace. He is an 8 year old boxer who can be overwhelmed or over-excited in certain situations. I am enjoying learning how to help him focus on me rather than what is happening in the environment. Johnny is giving me the confidence to walk my dog on a collar and lead rather than a harness. We look forward to learning more and my dog really does enjoy it too.

The knowledge passed on to help with our reactive Rottweiler is invaluable. They individually cater for the owner and the dog as needed because one solution doesn’t fit all. They are easy to communicate with, taking into account what the owners require from their dogs, what the dog needs, and what will work for them to have a great relationship to move forward with training. Highly recommended for all aspects of training. Distance should not be an issue when you want the best from your relationship. Looking forward to continuing our training journey with all my dogs.

Well what can I say about Valorant?! They honestly have changed our lives for the better. Our rescue dog had some reactivity and learnt behaviours that were causing him to react to other dogs, to the point where we thought we’d have to get him put down as he kept attacking other dogs. We learnt that he wasn’t a lost cause at all and he just needed some training, and so did we! We put him into board and training for a month to work on his learnt behaviours and we were so impressed with the change in him, but the best part of the process was Adam and Jonny taught us how to handle him. We didn’t realise how important this would be! Our lives have completely changed for the better, we are so much more confident, more knowledgeable and most importantly, our boy is less anxious happier and thriving from the training and support we’ve received! I genuinely can’t recommend Adam and Jonny at Valorant enough! We are now a part of an amazing community through the Valorant academy, surrounded by likeminded dog owners and continuous support. Having worked with the guys at Valorant on my dogs reactivity issues, obedience and furthering my own knowledge with the puppy course, I cannot recommend them enough. They focus on what ‘your’ dogs needs, not just a one size fits all . And their way of explaining all detail to the owners in an understandable way so that learning can be carried on at home is invaluable 😊

Helpful and effective support for Mia and I. Spending time to get to know us humans as well as the dogs and all sessions being 1:1 makes a huge difference. I’m starting to relax and enjoy outdoor time with my dog and the hard work is paying off thanks to these guys

Some of you reading this may think I am exaggerating but those of you that know me know that this is nothing but the truth. I have a nearly 2 year old mali who is massively reactive to people and dogs, I certainly bit off more than I can chew with her(mali joke). Without Valorant K9 she would have been put down several times over but every time I think there is no solution there is Adam and Jonny and the Academy team to help, support and guide. Never has there been a safer place or safer hands. The Academy has saved my dogs life, my life and countless unknown dogs and people that she would have had a go at (half joke)

We took our young St Bernard to see Adam and Jonny to help with some nerve and reactivity that was just surfacing. We covered theory and spent lots of time going though the mechanics and then out into the real world to practice. I never felt rushed and I was very comfortable asking questions. I’ve since joined the online academy to carry on with our training journey and both Adam and Jonny have been so helpful when I’ve been looking for further guidance. Thoroughly recommend!

Amazing… sorted out the issues I was having with my dog Leo, he had us all stumped and was acting so strange. Vet couldn’t help nor other trainers. After a good chat and session we had it cracked and worked out. We now have one really happy dog and one house that’s nice & calm again.

Knowledgeable people m great advice and tuition

Our one year old German Shepherd Wilf had dog reactivity issues and after being kicked out of one “training” class and seeing a dog behaviourist without success. We luckily found about Valorant K9 Academy as I was starting to think nothing could be done. From the first session I could see a difference as Adam and Jonny asked loads of questions about Wilf and us and then went on to give me confidence to deal with him and shown me how. We’ve been back for two more refresher sessions and Wilf has improved each time. I can’t recommend them enough they have changed our pups life (and ours when out and about )!!!
